The originals were the vinly albums "Plug In Flush Out" and "Philadelphia Special".
The first remaster was for the VGP CDs "Plug In Flush Out" and "Philadelphia Special".
The next remaster was for the Rattlesnake box set "Touring Party 1972".
The next remaster was for the Mayflower multiband releases.
The so far last remaster was by Captain Acid, but who knows what will be next...

Dont forget that wonderful release Philadelphia Special Project from 10 or 12 years ago. That got rid of the tracks from elsewhere. And there was a Captain Acid remaster Philadelphia Specialties. Both were great. What's next? I am hoping for an rskinno remaster.

I have compared the two, and I feel that "Philadelphia Specialties Acid Project 057" is much better than 0721, not to mention "Fort Worth," to begin with. I have my doubts about May Flower's Multiband. I initially liked the low-frequency boost.

Many armature sound engineers use software to achieve a certain effect. Often the entire recording is subject to the software imposed on the material.

Maybe the software worked well on fixing annoying audience hand clapping but dulled the sound of every song in the recording? I'd want to find the original source if possible and start from scratch.
