Tell Me is one of my favourite early songs, well it seems I came late to this longest stereo mix.

ToddS, finally got a chance to listen to it today, could hear Charlie’s kick drum very clear and the mix sounded great! I’m glad you chose this extended version, I’ve always loved this version but, I hate that it abruptly ends. Thanks

I always thought the way they muted Charlie's drums on this was a mistake. I wonder what held Oldham back from insisting on the full Hal Blaine-Phil Spector slam with reverb ("Be My Baby"), since that's the style the rest of the mix is reaching for. It's practically a Ronettes cover, so not the moment to be a "tasteful" producer.
