This version appears to be a tweaked copy of the VGP source (exact same tracklengths) instead of a true vinyl rip from the Magic Dwarf vinyl.

So what would be the better source for the Berlin 1965 show? My initial guess was that subsequent CD boots simply utilized tweaked versions sourced from the Magic Dwarf vinyl.

Maybe possible, I can't compare anymore since I don't have the LP anymore.
DAC-150 is better than VGP-248 IMO.

I once owned all six Magic Dwarf LPs, but I was very dissappointed about them. Everything was in rather bad quality and available better or much better elsewhere. So it is no big loss if you do not have them (as original or rip). I sold them all again.

Magic Dwarf was a TSP sub-label for inferior quality recordings.
Beautiful colored vinyls.
Also existing is an EP (4 songs taken from MDR-6) as a shaped record, MAJESTIC BEGINNING.
