The idea for this new version was born thanks to the upload of a vinyl rip of this show taken from the bootleg “Weil du heut’Geburstag hast” by BNeiene on IORR weeks ago: thank you very much!
Keessie and Britney noted that this source was different from the one that we used for volume 11 of our series devoted to this tour. This version is also interesting because it is often of better quality, two titles are now complete that have been partial before ("Take It So Hard", "Hate It When You Leave") and it contains a short excerpt of "Before They Make Me Run"which was totally absent from the previous version. On the other hand, 4 titles are missing here that were present on the previous version.
On the version from the vinyl the tracks are edited so I restored the passages between the titles with the previous source.
The version from the vinyl had faults that I tried to correct (without using a filter!): They are too numerous to be cited here. I did what I could but the transitions between the sources are still harsh.
I also checked the versions officially published in the 30-year anniversary box of "Main Offender" to determine the correct speed of the tracks.
This version is 5 minutes more complete than the previous one but the second part of the concert is still missing.
A few comments :
I have not managed to completely repair the end of "Wicked As It Seems”.
There are many variations in intensity on "Yap Yap".
I also reworked the previous version in particular by re-balancing the 2 channels and readjusting the phase.
