POST & ISO: Mick Jagger - Deep Down Under
Posted by: exilestones ()
Date: April 5, 2022 01:44

They released Deep Down Under on VHS but I don't think it ever got on to DVD or Blu-ray officially.

I have the Jointrip release of 'Deep Down Under' which is good but I'm looking for better. Also, I don't think the Jointrip release is in stereo.

This DVD from Gigin Japan claimes to be higher quality and a different source than other releases. The set list is the same minus 'band intros' and 'Satisfaction.' and 'The Stomp.' 84 minutes
A noticable difference between this disc and the older disc is the running time. The older DVD has a running time of 1:10

A television broadcast program that recorded the October 15th Melbourne performance with multi-camera pro shots from Mick Jagger’s only solo tour that took place only in Japan, Australia, and Indonesia when “Primitive Cool” was released in 1988.

Includes a super high quality version of “DEEP DOWN UNDER”. (Three songs were shot live at a hotel in Melbourne on October 19th.) The highest quality digital master obtained from an Australian TV station broadcaster was made into a DVD as it is.
Mick’s performance is the best, fascinating with his snappy action and singing. The high-quality performance of the back members, which can be heard with outstanding playing power, is also the best. The content is familiar, but the definitive live
footage of Mick’s 1988 solo tour, which can be enjoyed with a quality that surpasses that of the existing version, is a must-see for fans. Since the original master and video have been made into a DVD, there are some uncollected parts due to this
super high quality master is the best gem that you can fully enjoy with ultra clear quality that can be asserted as the highest ever. This definitive edition has been highly acclaimed by many hard-core enthusiasts, is the long-awaited re-appearance.

There are 5 different covers but none has 3-logy on the cover.

Mick Jagger On Set In Australia Filming “Party Doll”

These photographs were taken on the film set for Mick Jagger’s re-recorded single
“Party Doll” for his “Deep Down Under” Australian tour.

They show Jagger performing with his guitar on the verandah of an abandoned
house in the Australian desert, as well as with members of the crew and caterers.

Maybe you should try another applcation to unzip? I have several so when one fails an other one will do the job without problems. I zipped these files on a Mac using the standard osX compression applcation I always use.
