i like frankfurt 1976, early tour

My only gripe is that I find Jagger's vocal to up front in the mix. Frankfurt seems great too, I haven't listened to it in years. On my list in the next week or so. I wish captain acid takes notice and does a remaster of either Lyon or Frankfurt
Absolutely not. The best ever of 1976 is the 2nd half of June 7th, and the matrix of June 6th. There's not even a question.
Always thought the Paris recordings to be a bit muddy. On Lyon you can hear Charlie's high hat but I will check out the ones you mentioned again. Thanks!

with the 2nd half of June 7th you mean the IMP release 2-3 years ago together with the LYL remixes ? yes, that is very good sound as well but only about half of the show. which boot "the matrix of June 6th" is released ?

Did anyone ever assess the perf?
This one was a "don't matter" gig as - unlike Paris - it wasn't taped or filmed but considering the poor level of the Paris residency Lyon could well be a better perf.
Iirc Nice was painful to listen to. A soulless gig.
