i thought in this particular case it was the other way round: someone at radio station having copy of the SB tape, boots were made from the broadcast

I just discovered this on Mixcloud and I think the FM broadcast seems to enhance the sound of the guitars and offers a fuller sound in my mind:

I can do an audio rip of it from the site but wondering if this specific broadcast version has ever been bootlegged as I think sound quality would likely be even better.

All radio broadcasts are just the radios playing the bootleg-vinyl. Any difference in quality is because of EQing

Excellent stereo soundboard recording; probably the most well known boot of
the tour. Legend has it the tape was stolen from the soundboard before the
show ended which explains why the end is missing. Good performance except the
incomplete encore "Street Fighting Man" sounds completely unrehearsed; it's
terrible. Original LPs sound better than any CD release; in fact The Swingin'
Pig "Out on Bail" and Scorpio's "Capital Connection" both appear to be dubbed
from vinyl.

Months after the concert, several radio stations around the country played the vinyl bootleg on the radio late night when the record company execs were not listening. This show was never broadcast live on the concert date.A few stations played the songs out of order as well.
