My first thought was surely so many songs can't be a soundcheck for the one single gig (Feb 28. 1983.)
Seems he did 4 gigs at the Bottom Line. 25, 26, 28 Feb and 1 March with 2 shows each night.

Not that I understand much with how groups and soundchecks work but I would of thought Reed and group would soundcheck on the 25th, or maybe the day before even, and that would be it for all 8 shows.

If the 28th date is correct then there must of been a reason for soundchecking. On the face of it though it looks strange. Did Reed bring in a new player in the group on the 28th who wasn't there on the 25th and 26th maybe?

Someone who probably knows it better left a comment on guitars101 that correct date is 25th. And this is more of a rehearsal than a sound check,so it`s logical it was done at the beginning of those shows at BL.

but i still believe that the last songs come from another source / date bec of that big difference in sound (quality)
