Issues with FileFactory
Hi
No matter what link I use, I can't connect to FileFactory: I only get messages that the requested address can't be found!
I also can't access the site directly or through a Googl... search.
So I thought that the problem could be related to my IP address... but it's the same if I use my wife's laptop!
There, I don't understand anything. Has anyone had this problem before and found a solution?

thanks: now I know the problem is not general.
I discovered this problem on friday and since then it continues.

If you are using Firefox as your browser you need to update it to the latest version 96.0.1 and keep your fingers crossed, its still not perfect.

it was automaticaly updated the 15/01 so it's already the 'new' version.
I tried to use 'Google chrome' and the problems remains the same

Thanks you for thinking about the problem but it's impossible.
As I wrote on the first mail: it happens with all links I used, also if I tried to connect directly in the main site (so in 'FileFactory.com'), if I tried to google the name 'FileFactory'...
Usually I used Firefox but it's the same problem if I tried with 'Google Chrome' and more curious also if I used my wife's laptop
always the same answer 'adress not found'
Seems a bad joke!!!

yes I tried but without success... in addition it would not have explained that the problem also exists from my wife's laptop

I have experienced the same problems using other browsers, but connecting to filefactory is ok for me. Some other sites are proving problematic.

As said already, clear cache and temp folder etc..Firefox has gone back to being memory intensive as well as it runs a number of processes at the same time.

I would also suggest disabling any ad blockers you have installed to see if that provides any improvements.

Firefox in the latest release blamed cloud service providers changing a configuration setting for the bugs in v95 and 96. Some sites use cloudflare as a front end and this is causing connection/timing out issues.

I already advised by email after the latest windows update to go back to the previous windows settings.
Go back with "restore point"

Same here (in fu....g France). I can't connect to FileFactory anymore.

Except for some annoying ads (which I have to ckick away and which were already there in the past now and then) it works perfectly with Firefox 96.0.1.

Same problem here ...
But it works with a VPN. (I'm using Hoxx).

Any time I see something I'd like that's been posted on FileFactory, I wait and hope for somebody to put it up on WeT. FF makes watching paint dry seem like a land speed record attempt. I avoid it.

it is very strange because filefactory is not accessible from my home, but it is from my work...
