Thanks for the offer of the San Bernadino show. I'd agree it's a better performance overall. However there are a couple songs on the Coast to Coast album I like, and the sound quality is better. So if anyone can post the Coast to Coast album for download, I'd appreciate it.

The Faces were great, but Overtures is one badly chosen and sequenced selection of songs. It's not impossible this was a move that Warners made to sabotage their sales and airplay, in order to woo Rod into a solo switch to their label (which happened a bit later with Atlantic Crossing) and break up the Faces, whom Rod was long outselling. Critic David Hepworth says as much, claiming that Warners lost interest in the group once it picked up Rod in a classic divide-and-conquer move. Hepworth also reports that Ron Wood claimed Warners underpromoted his solo LPs so as not to compete with Rod's.
