Understood from using the search feature here that you either like the Steel Wheels live sound/mix or you don't. But I was wondering if anyone who enjoys this tour and has listened to a lot of recordings, would have any suggestions for recording's where the guitars were captured louder. Audience recordings are certainly welcomed. Thank you!

My personal favorites are shows they did in september and after few others like Ames,final New York(oct 29th) La shows were,well off

Later part of the tour i really like Clemson from which they some songs on Flashpoint.

I have shared my speed corrected remasters here but I have no links for them anymore.

Oh and the 2nd Oakland is an exellent choice.

Beats the Voodoo Lounge tour. When I saw them three times in Toronto, 1994, I kicked myself for not seeing them there twice (instead of once) in 1989.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion, I liked the VL tour, saw 3 shows. Liked it much better than SW tour

Yes and it's excellent! Well actually It's a little harsh but still good, I dropped it a bit and added a little bass

The guitars are pretty well mixed for the AT THE MAX concert, just missing some songs. I'm having a new appreciation of this tour. I saw it a Shea Stadium and was so disappointed. My first Stones show was Orlando in 81 and that was a wild rock and roll show!

The recent official Atlantic City is very well-balanced. Thus you can get three mixes if you want. That's what I did anyway and I love the "Keith side" version of the show.

Yes it is, I just bought it last night and it's so much better than the bootleg version I used to have.

I'm actually enjoying these SW/UJ shows for the first time ever, they were playing pretty well on that tour.
