Isn't it strange that they recorded 3 versions of a promo film for a song that at the time only appeared as a fake live recording with overdubbed audience a year later on Got Live If You Want It (not counting the release of the undubbed version decades later, of course)?

Wasn't the GLIYWI lp unreleased in the UK until the early 70ies? We had a double lp in Germany with Stone Age / GLIYWI in 1972 or 1973 and the Gimme Shelter lp with only one side of GLIYWI and one side with studio tracks. If my memories aren't wrong... So this song turned up very late.

It's seems there may have been more plans for the song than to put the fake live track on the live album.
