ROLLING STONES @ ALLEGIANT STADIUM, LAS VEGAS, NV 11/6/21 (untracked wav)


As usual I didn't spend 500$ on a sweet spot ticket so this will just have to be a placeholder til one of those recordings show up.

I wanted to see just one more show but with the Canelo vs Plant fight and the rodeo, hotels and flights were out of reach and Megabus totally booked and no one I know wanting to drive, it was looking very unlikely. Ended up getting home way earlier than usual Friday night and saw the sheer amount of tickets on resale and knowing how with transportation and accomodations unavailable putting downward pressure on the prices, decided to look at Greyhound (always a last resort) and with the 3am return it was suddenly do-able.

The show would probably rank 4th out of the 4 I saw this tour. Band was just off and out of synch. And while the fan vote was often the best part of the 1990's tours, it's the worst now!

Couldn't see Sasha Allen except when she was on the screen or during Gimme Shelter and she was probably the highlight of the show. Now the Lyft driver to the Greyhound (Because the city bus to the station broke down, yikes!) told me he knew her from singing his church and he told me "but her mother told me she has a showcase on a song, um um um" "Gimme Shelter?" "Yeah that's it" and he put the studio version of the song on his Ipod.

And I can't let this go without a quick note from my Greyhound trip there. The chick across the aisle just flashed her muff! That would never happen on Megabus. Maybe Spirit Airlines.

Would still like to do Hollywood, FL if I could get something in the 300$ range.

Here's a tracked flac version I made with CD Wave Editor (to avoid SBE's)
I deleted 18 minutes of intro and 10 minutes of outro.
I also applied fade in and fade out.
Nothing else was done.

Included is the cuesheet file which you can use *with the original untracked wav file* if you don't like mine.

Got a nice one from pit 1 with one exception. A screamer like I haven't dealt with in 20 years. The recording is being fixed to remove her as much as possible. She left during Midnight Rambler. Sound in the pit was phenomenal and was in a prime spot so the screaming is particularly disappointing..

I can still hear her at a low level at a few points but anyone listening will think its just normal crowd noise. I wasn't thrilled with the LA recordings. This one is good.
