The untracked wav file was imported to Audacity - Tracks split as detailed below - Exported as Level 8 16 Bit flac files.

I suggest you to use CDWave Editor to split tracks and avoid the classic Sector Boundary Errors (SBEs)--Clicks Between Tracks. You can also create a cuesheet file.

Red Book audio CD,: 1/75 of a second of audio: 588 pairs of left and right samples. If you split tracks "by hand" you will probably split one or all of them outside 1/75, like it happed here.

Thanks for the heads up gonzalo76. This above is all new to me. Thought I only had to load the original wav file and then "cut / paste / number and rename / save" for each of the tracks I wanted to create. That is what I did, then played them back to check all was OK.

Had a quick look on the internet and found a program called Traders Little Helper. I have imported the Flac files and it has successfully repaired and rewritten them. See the text file it has created below.

I'll upload the repaired files now. Thanks again for the heads up. Apologies to all for any inconvenience caused.

UPDATE: Fixed/rewritten files now available from new link in opening post of this thread.

Oh, cool, I was going to ask what all these errors might mean to the tracks I already downloaded and burned to CD for my friends having not listened to them all yet, but just think I'll wait for your remaster and start over!

Love both the artwork sets so far; hopefully an option for the 2 disc jewel box as well coming? Pretty please?

I actually didn't like the special St. Louis t-shirt but I did think the design made a good album cover! I also liked how someone worked Mick's Arch picture into the back cover.

Just keep on doing what you've been doing so well for so long. A Captain Acid Remaster with Mr D Artwork is always a truly great package.
