Hi everyone,

i am working on a remaster of "Can You Hear The Mobile" VGP 016, European Tour 1973 rehearsals.
My question is if anyone knows of a better source than VGP release?

To be honest, I don't know the VGP version. What I have, is 2 tapes that might be a 4th of 5th generation, but the quality is far away from good.
Here are 2 samples, Angie (1) and 100 Years Ago (1). You can compare them with your VGP silver. [www.filefactory.com]

I have checked your files. In the mean time i have got from a friend Silkcut`s 3 CD version which is bit better than VGP......and is pretty similar to what you have send. Thank you again.

Anybody know what the "rock n roll jam" actually is? I was thinking maybe a Jimmy Reed number

I know there are professionally recorded 1973 Rotterdam rehearsals in existence. They approached Mick about releasing one this year, but it didn't happen.

Nico has some rehearsals listed.

The quality changes here and there, because sometimes
you can hear cars drivin, the tapers speaking.
But totally it´s a pretty interesting tape, with a good
hearable quality.

I got this one in a trade in the middle 80´s.

I know there exist a bootleg cd of this one with a different trackorder.

But I recorded the songs in that order as they were on my tape.



Maybe my tape - version is an upgrade to the bootleg cd.



Some songs were played with some new starts,
and I decided to recorded these
short takes as one file.
