The uploader calls himself Danny Saber. I don't know, if he's got something to do with the released OOC 'Saber' mixes, but I never heard this one before. There are lots of unauthorised OOC mixes, all made from released stuff, but this sounds partly like different vocals. Thanks for the link. He writes -final take, pre overdubs- in the video, maybe that's, what it is.

Could this one be THE track from the B2B sessions? Not the most important one but the one that led to the eviction of Saber from the studio?

Keef didn't like the fact that a non-Stones person put a track on a Stones song, and he got the head of the man ("What about Waddy?" you might reply? But Waddy is family. Saber wasn't, apparently...)

Mean people imply D.S. got his revenge some time later by leaking a few genuine outtakes from the B2B sessions to his entourage...

By the way you have these ones on your computer feel free to share them before we're all dead.

I may be completely wrong but indeed this is an early OOC with - probably- Saber playing most if not all the guitar tracks.

It feels very weird because (imo) Saber mainly plays "straight", on the "one" while Keith instinctly plays on the backbeat.

Anyway this OOC I is no match for the studio version.

With Audacity (free) you can make any speed you like.

Hey I think you're right! I was thinking it sounded "weird" compared the version that was on VGP-198 and - indeed - it might be a speed problem.

I play the track with VLC player while setting the "speed" cursor at 0,96 and imo it sounds good. Jagger's vocal delivery now sounds natural.

Between "experts" (all 3 of us) can we agree it's OOC I?
(well four... Nico has just updated his site and for him too it's vI).

Hmm, but making an mp3 out of an m4a isn't really the solution, is it? It's double lossy now...

Btw, the reason for the too fast version could be one more time the PAL speed up: [en.wikipedia.org]

I always wondered about that. Even the CD speed is different sometimes on various releases.
