Idea - A Collection of Rolling Stones Promo Spots

Did anyone ever think to put together a collection of Rolling Stones commercials for their albums? I know there's one for Dirty Work and another for Emotional Rescue.

There's also Mick or Keith doing ads from radio stations or radio in general.

A few recording of Mick saying, "Listen to this..." and Chain Chain Chain then Ronnie plays. I can't remember where I got that one from.

Then there' Keith say about a guitar something like "..and an @#$%& to play it."

How about Mick advertising for WMMR and messes it up and says, "Oh God, I gotta do much better than that."

I love these promos! The videos and the audio. It would be a fun collection to have.

Any quote of the Stones promoting a tour, album, radio station or just being funny would be great to have in a collection. Even a funny line from an interview would be perfect for this collection like if we could get a clip of Keith saying that he never had a problem with drugs, just policeman, would be awesome.

i like the idea here is a thread from a couple months ago that has a similar theme that might help iorr

do you know about all the "funniest moments of the rolling stones" videos on youtube? there are at least a dozen and all of them are worth watching as they do exactly what you propose here but with video footage. Sound and image quality are kind of inconsistent, thats the only bad part.

I guess local radio station promotions by the Stones are only in private collections.

There are four in total so I've numbered them 11 to 14 to follow on from the ten you posted above.

14 1966-07-26 Cow Palace Tickets

Track 12 - I think this may be a 'fake'. I do remember I couldn't find anything on a Stones performance at Dallas Memorial Auditorium on a Saturday dated 16th April.
