Classic vinyl bootleg in excellent soundboard quality, with intros at the beginning of each LP-side. According to the HOT WACKS BOOK XV, this is "The best Stones live recording, surpasses even the officially released live albums in quality."

One of my first bootleg in 75, just to " buy Keith some teeth"!!!
The radio introduction is my favorite," you know the Time of the great band,was really a fabulous périod.....

Excellent recording! This one (along with Tour of Americas 75 & Liver Than You'll Ever Be) was one of the first boots in my Stones collection. I played this LP constantly (and wore it down) on my record player. Friends of mine who were Stones freaks (and/or I introduced to the Stones) could not believe their ears when they heard the sound quality of this boot including the stunning and epic version of Midnight Rambler! They couldn't believe that this was the Stones and that they could play that good.

PS- I love the hand written transcription on the lower front where it says: "This tape was supplied and edited for this disc by the Rolling Stones Maniaks Group, Anytown chapter" Classic!

Has there ever been any confirmation as to who the announcer is ?
I read somewhere that it was Bob Hope but I've never been able to find what it originally comes from.

Can anyone suggest what I should use to open these .rar files ?
I downloaded a couple of free apps but they don't seem to work.

I don't know either but these announcements were put before the LP sides by the bootleggers. The original KBFH broadcast had a different announcment of course by the KBFH speaker which probably sounds like this:

There is also the show announement before Gimme Shelter and a Jagger interview at the end.
