Here are my guesses for the dates of each recording:

She’s Doing Her Thing (Satanic Sessions; “Dream Pipe” w/vocals 1967)

The vocal, organ and additional guitar are most definitely not from the 60's, but from late 70's or 80's.

Everything here is from Satanic. This has 60's written all over it.

The basic track is, but the overdubs of vocals, organ and 6 string guitar with echo/delay are most definitely not.

The Exile deluxe release shows they obviously had a tape of this and this bootleg shows they evidently re-visited it much later and added vocals, organ and guitar.

Nico has had the song listed in 1967 for a long time now with this title. I'm honestly just not hearing anything that was overdubbed in the 70's or 80's. At no point during that time period would they revisit a song from Satanic considering they'd than have to share song royalties with ABKCO for a track written while they were under contract with them. Keith's vocals are clearly from '67 and Mick's are as well. No way does Mick sound like that in 2009 for the Exile reissue.

2nd - 5th October: Olympic Sound Studios and De Lane Lea Studios. Producers:
The Rolling Stones. Sound engineer: Glyn Johns. Second engineer: Eddie Kramer.
- Blow Me Mama (MJ/KR) -3rd October, unverified
- Citadel II (MJ/KR) -Nicky Hopkins on harpsichord; Satanic Majesties-version
- The Lantern II (MJ/KR) -Nicky Hopkins on piano; Satanic Majesties-version
- Manhole Cover (MJ/KR) -3rd October; unverified
- She’s Doing Her Thing (MJ/KR) -3rd October; unverified
Additional musician: Nicky Hopkins.
Note: The recordings were done at Olympic. De Lane Lea was used for
mixing purposes.

Here's an instrumental of the song under the title "Title 15." The basic track was done in July 1967 while the organ/vocals were overdubbed in October 1967 along with the other songs from Satanic.

Woooooo Hoooooo.... lots of lovely stuff here. Nothing at first listen that is downright GREAT, but much that is fantastic that most artists would give their leftie to have in the can. Thanks so much to the OP

Thank you so very much!!!!!!!!!!!!

The lossless files (presumably from the CD's) are actually from lossy sources (if you look at the file in an audio editor most of the files features an abrupt cut around 15kHz). Which may means that when buy the CD's on ebay you actually buy mp3 files converted to wav and put on CD. (I'm not saying it's not an exceptional compilation of songs of course)

Darn Kowalski, I was hoping this wasn't the case though I figured it had to be. No way they're giving this stuff at regular quality. I suppose you already know a lot of them are 128kbs. Oh well.

Maybe "someone" sat on those for a long time but the recent release of the "Art Collins" files on DAC made them think it's now OK to sell CDs pressed from lossy material?

What a bummer - but then, Bootlegs were never meant for audiophile enthusiasts, and these tracks definitely sound a lot better than the vast majority of unauthorized "lossless" files out there...

People, we're talking bootlegs, NOT classical music recordings, besides 90% (if not more) couldn't tell the difference between a 320kbps MP3 and a lossless FLAC and even fewer between a FLAC and a so-called HQ file sold on Qobuzz in 24/192 or whatever.

On the other hand it's interesting to hear stuff that got released recently, like Scarlet or "Criss Cross" WITHOUT the ridiculous brickwalling that we're getting these days.

I can't hear anything that sounds like a 128kbps MP3 anyway, not that 75% (or more) would ever notice in any case ;-)

So since I couldn't wait and burned the mp3 files upped by bkeys (thanks) there is no need to toss those disks and burn from the flac files? The flac files are the same quality as the mp3s? Thanks Kowalski.

To me they sound quite similar (both have this hollow sound caracteristic of low bitrate mp3). The FLAC files posted here may be a little better than the converted mp3 files (mp3 conversion always involve some degredation).

Again, if you have any specific/typical "128kbps MP3 artifacts" too point out, feel free. In the meantime it's not "actually", it's "allegedly".

Re: can't wait?

The properties of the files I have downloaded from that source say 162kbps, so in my case anyhow, its "actually" indeed. Haven't checked them all, but the ones I have have been.

Not complaining, mind you. But if these were initially ripped from the cd from wav format, and were not ripped at least at 320, which compared to flac is still lossy, they could be at better resolution than they are, no matter what is actually on the cd. Just sayin.

Thank you again whoever did these, and anyone with insight into holes in my logic, please, come forward.
