That's exactly what I thought but doesn't the production and keyboard sound very similar to Keep It Cool from '82? I totally agree there's a Far Away Eyes prototype in here but at the same time it sounds more like '82 to me. Very odd.

It wouldn't put too much stock in how things "sound", it's easy to modify that when remixing/remastering. There's really no good reason for them to have reworked the "Faraway Eyes" musical backing after it was released.

Interestingly Martin Eliott already had ETIBHH as an alternate title for FE so it must have "circulated" somehow ;-)

I wonder if this is the version Keith refers to. I recall reading an interview where Keef talks about the "killer version" of this track, only to voice his dismay at what the Dust Brothers(?) did on the album version.

I doubt it, the released version sounds like an edit of this one.

Based on many comments it seems most people haven't had the time/bothered going back to the known outtakes/released songs ;-)

I'm really enjoying "It's a Lie" why in the world did this not make the cut for the Some Girls Deluxe? Such awesome bluesy, almost-Exile period sound. I can see why it didn't make the original album but it's a great little outtake.

Very good point!! I still can't get over how FANTASTIC every song sounds. This has become one of my favorite Stones bootlegs already!!

The vocal, organ and additional guitar are most definitely not from the 60's, but from late 70's or 80's.

Everything here is from Satanic. This has 60's written all over it.
