So Andra(who is known in these parts as a BIG RS fan ) is the person behind this release ??

A. it is absolutely not done to share an e-mailaddress without consent of the owner. Johnnythunders needs to learn about netiquette.
B. It is highly unlikely he (Andre) is behind this title, since he passed away a couple of years ago.
I believe Andre is still alive, however his wife Maud passed away....

Nop. You’re quite wrong there.

No good idea to post a mail address unless you have permission.

I received an email offering this CD so...

I contacted the woman who is running Andrè’s business for some time now.
She has not given you permission to publish the E-Mail address.
So please think twice before doing stupid things.

The anxiety and excitement in anticipation of this release is indeed warranted.

One noteworthy detail is that some of these tracks are FAR from "fully finished".

The most historic news is that "It's Only Rock 'N' Roll" is indeed the original version from Woody's studio.

Plan on doing nothing else for a few days.

Does that mean we will be able to hear Bowie?!

I do not believe what is being said here in the forum.
E-mals sends what is not yet available.

very disappointed with how some people think.

Isn’t that the one that’s used on the IORR promo video clip?

I don't think so. The track recorded in RW studio was used as a basic track for the IORR album. Most of the guitars have been replaced by KR. RW said, that he forgot one of his acoustic guitars, which is still on the album. So the video version seems to be an alternate version from 74 (for me).

Finally a viewable back cover is available and from it some considerations can be done:
Dreams to remember (is this the O.Redding tune?) is 7.43 m. long (phew!)
Putty in your hands is a cover of the Shirelles (mispelled) 62 song
Dog shit is 6.05 m. long, much longer than the Art Collins known version
Part of the night is 5.37 m. long, quite longer than known version
It’s a lie is 4.19 m. long, slightly longer than known version
Keep it cool is 5.24 m. long, much shorter than known version
Can’t find love is 7.22 m. long, much longer than known version
Desperate man is 6.11 m. long (phew!)
Still in love with you (os this the same song as Still in love?) is 4.25 m. long, longer than Still in love known versions
Strictly Memphis is 3.30 m. long, much shorter than known version
2 Studio Jam Sessions are 3.04 & 3.01 m. long, are both longer than the officially published DVD versions
So, possibly the shortest versions can be deemed to be really finished outtakes.
Finally, discs lenght do not match adding up each track reported lenght, disc one is 75.35 (claimed 79.20), disc two 71.05 (claimed 74.32) and disc three 78.36 (claimed 78.17); this could mean 2 different things, either the label does not know how to add numbers or tracks lenghts are wrong .

Thanks riccardo99, finally something substantial here in this thread.

I'm sure that Still In Love With You is Still In Love.

Dog Shit on the Art Collins-collection is 7 1/2 minutes, longer than here.

Dreams To Remember being Otis Redding's I Got Dreams To Remember is quite likely, they did quite a few Otis Redding covers around that time (especially during the Dirty Work-sessions)

I Can See No One Else seems to be the DW-outtake we know as Beside You (but two minutes shorter here)

If we really get the long lost embryonic version of IORR I'm more than curious what Bowie does on it. KR in a contemporary interview (Zig Zag magazine) was playing it down by saying that DB was only hand-clapping... other sources say he can also be heard singing.

"Still in love with you (os this the same song as Still in love?) is 4.25 m. long, longer than Still in love known versions"

There is a version called "Ralph's Tune" that first appeared on Keith's "Learning the Game" boot with faint vocals by Mick that's pretty long, 7+ minutes [www.youtube.com]

Thanks for your info, riccardo99.

I found the following circulating versions of the above named songs, which might be totally diffrent from this cd:

- It's A Lie with drum intro 4.28 [?]
- It's A Lie with horn intro 5.23 [WLR 64]
- Can't Find Love with KR on backing vocals 7.11 [WLR 64]
- Still In Love with pedal steel 5.03 [?]

That is also my opinion since a long time, but I have absolutely no proof.

The IORR video soundtrack is a strange version with different guitars, vocals, especially a slide guitar that does not sound like KR or MT.

Maybe we'll know soon.

You have no lesson to give to anyone.

Do you remember the faked tracks you posted, as exemple a version of "Hang Fire" made out of a 30 seconds snippet. YOU KNEW exactly what you were doing.

Just disgusting.

, It is the same as "Still In Love # 4 (7'29)" of DAC-109 that appeared later.
