Many thanks Captain, I've been after this for a while. I have the single CD version that came with the initial copies of the Bowie at the Beeb set, which sounded superb, so it will be interesting to hear this.

This seems to be a different show to the released single CD "AT THE BEEP" Wild is the wind and Ashes to Ashes at least are different versions. It´s not the mix, different vocals and instruments.

Anyway, I have 2 "remasters"...
The London Boy BBC 2000
original silver CDx2 - Wardour-364
"The London Boy - BBC 2000" > dbPoweramp Music Converter > Flac Level 5
Stereo Soundboard Recording
The sound quality is perfect. I'm sure one could debate the variations of the Virgin release & this one - but don't. It's a complete Bowie soundboard - just love it & smile.
It also shows that at least one lyrical mistake was fixed for the official release.
On the bootleg, Bowie messes up the opening of Wild Is The Wind.
On the official release, this is corrected.
And on the video, they camera cuts away from Bowie at this point too.
There may be other fixes but i've not listened too closely.

With you"
One thing I mentioned elsewhere is that while the tracks are almost identical length so run at the correct speed, the songs sound somehow to be in a different key to the official release.
But the new bootleg tracks do have the same sound as the old audience recording.
Happy to be corrected by someone with a musical ear.

Both sources suffer speed problems. I wish I know how to fix it.

Yeah, me too. The guy who did the remaster is a genius, he comes out with some amazing results.
He has suggested that he may make a version where he merges the official release and the bootleg together but we'll see, if he does I will certainly share that with you.

There was a big issue about the speed and pitch.Anyhow with the help from Professor Goody, we have corrected everything as it should be.
Get this version on Traders Dan, it`s the best so far, better than one i shared here, or at Electric Ladyland.
