Actually, Prodigal Son is in stereo everywhere (but In Mono box and mono LPs). But it is extremely narrow stereo and it was considered as mono far ages. To find stereo component one should listen closely to harmonica.
Special mix on Promotional Album is an old 'urban legend'. I believe it was dismissed some time ago.
'Promo men' were good even in 1969. One should decide by himself which version is included - mono or stereo. Because LK catalog # stands for mono while SKL - for stereo .Quote
