Do I dare to say that this runs a bit too fast as well,i quickly tested with audacity and if slowing down -3% tempo gets right and pace as well, they were not very fast in the beginning of the tour..

I think you're wrong.
Pitch is ok to me on all songs and since the lineage for this torrent is 100% digital (DAT to WAV) without any "cassette" copy in the middle it would be quite difficult for this recording to be affected by speed problems.

DAT's had a cold sound but they were free of speed problems unlike all analogic devices.

And you´re right, this one fits on 2 cd´s as there is no outro.

They seem to have some kind of problem what kind of tempo they should have in 1989,it took a long long time to get it right,in fact end of october, final New York was the one, that after that shows were exellent, well not all like Atlanta.
But i personally think, september shows were the best ones, including this opening night.

Some problems on Midnight Rambler in the beginning for the band. Mainly Charlie.

This show is very listenable from a performance stance. Most of the slickness that ruins this tour for me seems to be gone here which is VERY refreshing.

Then again, IIRC, it was the first Rambler in 13 years.

That's true...but they did have extensive rehearsals leading up to it smiling smiley

Thank you so much!!
Sounds very different from "Electrical Discharge"
Very good show! I like how the public are surprised with the songs that they haven't played for a long time!
Thank you so much for sharing it!
