My answer email to him keeps coming back and cannot be delivered,

Yes, it is an old exe, but still works best, especially on DIME!

I prefer utorrent3.3.1.

Iirc one should stay away from newest versions of UT as they have giant security breaches that can compromise your entire computer... oldest less sophisticated ones are more reliable.

I use Qbittorrent 3.3.16, much better than the newer versions.

Upload should work - you don't have to do anything (Router, Windowsfirewall)

Thanks. Checking closer....it's wierd, at the torrent-list, "upspeed" for each torrent always show up as zero. But when looking at details of each torrent, I see that there HAS been lots of MBs uploaded. So I guess it's alright then.

Didn't know that utorrent, which I've always used, have serious security holes before dcba's comment. Thanks for that info.

Erik only the "latest" i.e. the 2019 ones iirc. I don't know if the security breaches have been fixed by the UT team (I guess they have).

Are the old utorrents preferable to Bittorrent 4.4.1?
Is the Dime wiki the best up-to-date resource for the safety of bit torrent clients?
