It seems there are more versions of Philly Special 1972 than Brian Jones had illegitimate chillun.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ta.

Best vinyl version: pre-Swingin' Pig 2LP set on multi colored vinyl, black and white cover. No noise reduction.
Best CD version: VGP-260. Similar track listing and cover to above but a couple more songs as I recall. Slight noise reduction.
Avoid: Swingin' Pig 1 and 2.
What else is out there?

According to midnrambler's fine RS bootleg guide,
there are two versions of the VGP-260 bootleg:

"Version 1
VGP-260
16 tracks from Fort Worth and Philadelphia
1972. Excellent stereo soundboard quality,
better than the TSP CD. Basically the same
as on the LP Philadelphia Special (RSGL
72) but taken from tape without crackles
and the additional tracks Bye Bye Johnny
and Uptight/Satisfaction.

Version 2
VGP-260
Remastered version with a little less hiss but
otherwise the same."

The version in the Stonesvault is the second edition,
just in case, here is the first version for one week:
