There is something here, which we usually don't get very often from the Stones:
"Reelin' & Rockin'" to my ears is performed exaxtly the same way as in Chicago ~two months later; what a feat!
agree with you. compared now twice, to my ears both are the same recoding (Chess) BUT the version here is speed corrected and sounds better than the version i have here on several releases
All great and well, but it does not solve the mystery whether "Reelin' & Rockin'" is from Chess or Radio Luxembourg. I still think it's the RL source, it simply does not have the Chess studio sound

Thank you MoonlightMile
I've always had doubts about 'Reelin' And Rockin 'whether it was a chess recording
it is in mono, the rest of the songs in the session are in stereo

there are several songs from Chess released in mono only (Goodbye girl, Key to the highway... ) at least by the sources i have available here. so that´s no criteria. But do you have any songs from the RL broadcasts for sound comparison ?

"Radio actress" = "Radio acetate"?
No, I think it actually means Bill owned a radio actress. She was 13.
