It's hard to imagine that these outtakes can be heard with such good sound quality. When I was in Nishi-Shinjuku 30 years ago, the analog bootleg was at its peak, and the sound quality was shit.

Thanks for doing this! What a huge amount of work it must have been, the results are enjoyable and appreciated. I'd love to get some perspective on these tracks and hear what people think?

1. Does anyone know what version of Wild Horses this is? Looking at Nico's site and comparing the other versions I have, I'm just not sure.

2. Sister Morphine has the same beginning (strum...ready?) to the Abkco Copyright Extension version, which runs an extra 1:13, though.

3. I'm pretty sure given the length (4:17) and the sound of course that the version of Shake Your Hips is not Montreux 72 but one of the studio recordings.

No response on any of this I guess? I just checked and Shake Your Hips is 1970-06-16, Olympic Sound Studios, unclear if it's I or II (as per Nico) but it's definitely not the Montreux rehearsal.
