[forums.stevehoffman.tv]

Goats Head Soup Sessions - Deluxe Ed. 2020

this is the 2nd source I've seen confirming the GHS songs listed here & the prior post. Though the initial source was more of an actual source, not a fan forum like Steve Hoffman's.

Thanks for info

That'd be great, very appreciated. I did cross refernece Nico Zentgraf's Rolling Stones Database & Felix Aeppli's Stones song list & DBBoots' Rolling Stones song list (along with my own findings) for the OP list.

Please add what you like.thumbs up

Correction:

Brown Leaves & Brown Smear are similar, but different. One is longer 6M+ vs. 2M+, one is also slower than the other. Sounds like an early version of Dancing Girls.

@iraq0708 Thanks for the heads up & attention to detail! I knew about The End/'Shades Of Orange. It's funny how synchronicity works, as I only found out last night that 'Loving Sacred Loving' was also not a Stones tune.

The Rolling Stones – Schoolboy Blues (The Unreleased Tracks Vol. 1) LLRCD 052.

Do you have any info on the Goats Head Soup Sessions Nov-Dec '72, Dynamic Sound Studios, Kingston, Jamaica. More specifically the 8 tracks listed below (& pg.2 of this thread). I've found 2 sources listing them, but no boots?

After Muddy and Charlie

First Thing

Give Us A Break

Jamaica

Men Eating Woman 1 (Instrumental, 10:52) & Short vocal version (3:54)...not the longer vocal version. (Sessions Jan-Mar '73, Village Recorder, LA,CA).

Miami

Zabadoo

Four And In (MJ/KR) -unverified (Nico Zentgraf)

None of these tracks have been booted...if they are in trading circles they haven't escaped yet.

Is there any word or even common knowledge on just how much (#of songs/sessions & outtakes/demos) are still unreleased & in the proverbial vault?

How bout for rare/radio/TV & film/soundtracks/promos?

Lastly, impromptu live jams/live & concerts?

Here's a low quality MP3 of "And I Know"
[we.tl]

I would love a higher quality version if anyone has it?

Looks like it's been on at least two releases? [dbboots.com]

Thanks @imthemastah I really appreciate it. I'm at the point now where I have to DL entire CD(s), just to get that 1 uber-rare song...modern world problems lol.

Can anyone identify this song? The video is from Montreux Rehearsals '72, but the audio doesn't correspond to it. It isn't: Tumbling Dice, Shake Your Hips, Bluesberry Jam, John's Jam (Jam #2). It sounds vaguely familiar.

RS - "Obscure Jam"

Thanks.

Thanks @wiredallnighrt! I knew it sounded familiar, as I haven't listened to either the Mixes or jam in years.

You may be right. I just listened to it a 2nd time (this time without distractions & the NHL Playoffs on simultaneously). The YT uploader usually posts quality RS stuff though...according to him the song is "Devil's Disguise", but no further info given. It's a pretty good fake attempt, however I can hear that it's not Mick on certain notes/words, while others he sounds like a 90's/00's Mick.

Anyone else think this is a fake to confirm?
