Just one question: According to dbboots this bootleg comes from Wolfgang’s Vault, and i heard all the stuff coming from there is lossy. Is that correct?

This is track number one. It looks lossy per the MBs but it says FLAC.

IMHO the files are FLAC because, if Martijnstone rips his CDs like I'm doing (I'm using EAC, but there are other ways) , he gets first WAV files which he converts then to FLAC.

But if the source of the CDs is lossy (which seems to be the case here according to EAC (spectogram - frequency: cut at 15000 / Traders Little Helper: looks like MPEG), then the FLAC files are lossy, too.

Don't know if I'm expressing myself clearly, cos' I am not a native English speaker!

Discogs says the last three tracks are Houston.

Sorry if my question has been asked somewhere before. Just listened to WTWCD from Sucking In The Seventies and wondered if there are any good soundboards of the complete show. They must have recorded it otherwise they wouldn't have used WTWCD on Sucking.
Keeping It Simple is lossy as I read here, and most of those I been checking on dbboots don't include the complete show.
Any ideas?

Yes, this is lossy. The lowest bit rate mp3 can be turned into a flac file but it will still be lossy. flac does not = lossless.

is this really all from Detroit and really "Excellent Stereo Soundboard recording" as mentioned by dbboots ?

Not all, it's from Wolfgang's Vault as all these Detroit CDs (and therefore lossy, no idea which bitrate, but it sounds excellent anyway). The Last 3 tracks are from Houston, dbboots is correct here.
DAC-171 includes the missing tracks Respectable, Far Away Eyes, Sweet Little Sixteen, Brown Sugar and Jumpin' Jack Flash from an audience tape and is the only release with the (almost) complete show. A bit of Brown Sugar is missing.

thanks for the clarification. but dbboots did not mention anything about Houston.

a BIG THANK YOU to wiredallnight and StonesZP or whoever uploaded this. While I detect some "whining" about lossy, I am very grateful for the charity and generosity in sharing. I think that all the Wolfgang numbers sound perfectly fine and much like old friends. As someone who's never gotten away from the 1978 US Tour for very long, I have always thought that Detroit 78 was the best of the non-theater gigs. Listening to this is old school fun!
