The more I listen to the 2 boots available (VGP and Rattlesnake) the more they sound bad/metallic to me.

Yes! They even copied your tracking of the music (like making a single track of "Twenty Flight Rock" and "Going To A Go Go").

Imho this raw undoctored tape sounds a lot better than either of the 2 boots. The guitars don't sound like chainsaws here!

You are wrong. I'm in love in Laughingsam's remasters (though he didn't make this one). Compared him with many others. This one is beyond any comparison. I'll try to talk him into doing this job, though he's very busy now.
