Manufacturer / Catalog No.
Monotones / 06/007
Review:
Two days in November 1994 found Dylan and the band in New York City in rare form.
The pressure and excitement was on as the taping began for what would be yet another milestone for the maestro.
This two CD set captures the raw, unedited shows right off of the mix board.
The sound quality aproaches that of the official release.
AFTER you purchase the official issue, indulge in this wonderful, complete compilation and hear the shows as they were played.
This is not a substitute for the official release. It's a companion volume.

ripping and uploading all my silvers lately, this is an awesome one, enjoy!

I'd forgotten how good this one is. I spent many hours with "Unplugs It Once More" which I purchased about 20 years ago, but I somehow haven't picked it up lately. So, thanks again

Dear Captain, would you be interested in fiving this one a new life?

"Bob Dylan
Pavillon de Paris
Paris, France
July 8th 1978

Excellent Stereo Audience Recording
Source: Reel to Reel Master (Taper Unknown)>DAT>DVD Data Disc (FLAC)>Wave>Soundforge 8 (Clean Joins, New Track Marks)>
FLAC Level 6 Align on Sector Boundaries

NOTE: This recording was a mess once decoded, due to a very poor tranfer from DAT to CDR in that discs overlapped, track markings were poor, joins were rough and for no reason it was split to three discs.

As with all my transfers/torrents NO Normalisation or other alterations have been made
to the sound unless stated.

RE-TRACKING, CLEAN UP & ARTWORK by JTT, April 2007"

Hi G, the version dcba referred to is the version that I have too, but as you can see here:
[losslessbob.wonderingwhattochoose.com]
- it's a reworked version of a different/previous share, but as JTT didn't do any changes to the sound, it's as good as any.

This one is better.

Hollow Horn edition just like any other bootleg release of these sessions has a problem with phase issue. Stereo image is not clear, it is blurred.
If we compared it with shortsighted person, when you fix phase issue it`s like you put your glasses on, suddenly everything is clear and in focus.
This one also has better EQ job, not that the original was extremely bad, but this one is better

For getting the Unplugged torreent: does anybody remember how to use JDownloader 2 with MEGA NZ?

When I try to DL Unplugged at MEGA, I get an "out of memory" error.

When I try to use JDownloader. it doesn't accept the Mega Extension link I grab out of the URL box.

How do I find the right URL to use for this torrent? MEGA accepts other sites' torrents that use a standard www. prefix.

THANKS

I m not sure i understand what the problem might be? Just click on MEGA link and when it opens click download, that should be all. This is a direct download, this is not a torrent file.......hope this helps......you might try with different browser?

I figured out JDownloader. You have to insert the URL for this page (not the MEGA page for the Unplugged files), then delete from the add list the other downloadable material on the page that aren't the files you want.

Captain: Using Mega NZ, the files won't finish downloading and an "Out of memory" error notice pops up.

I have the same problem... Using Mega won't work. I suspect it's because the file is close to 1GB in size and for some reason it jeopardizes the download.
And I can't use JDownloader as my Os is too old. grinning smiley

If a kind soul can up this show on Mediafire or another host...

Since i shared my remaster of Saratoga, much better tape transfer was shared on Traders Dan, i suggest you download that one......saying that, that other, better source will also benefit a lot from remaster, but i`m not gonna do it soon
