Hi Stones Fanatics,

It Was Falo who suggested we do this one. First i did EQ to both sources. Than Falo did the matrix of those two. And in the end i did final EQ and some level correction.

Wow, just played it. I know I have heard it somewhere before and forgotten it I suppose. There are some really super musical moments on here enhanced by a matrix stereo recording. Also lots of different licks/chops going on. Really amazing document. Thank you!

Not sure if I can give a satisfying answer in case you wanna try it yourself.
You need a lot of practice until you feel comfortable to do it.

Anyway, the most important software is Dart Pro.
With constant minor speed changes, I have to split the recording into micro parts
and sync them one by one. Parts, sometimes not longer than 20sec.
With Dart Pro I can SEE both recordings and if the recordings get out of sync.
To SEE it is important because you cannot really hear which recording is running to fast or too slow.
So this software helps me to trim the length of the files.
It's not that difficult once you found the proper software to work on it but you still need to practice a bit.

I have to chime in and say as a person who loves the 69 tour, this latest Capt Acid/Falo/Mr D remaster does not disappoint. I thought Hotwax was a little over the top giving it a 10 all the way around (sound, packaging, performance), but for an early 69 audience West coast show, this (performance and sound quality) is pretty damn good and a very enjoyable listen! Kudos to all involved with this!

Ps- I do have to agree with Hotwax that of the several versions of this show that are out there (that I have heard)-this is the best sounding of the bunch!
