Thanks for the rework! it might somewhat erase the huge disappointment I had when I first heard this "special" gig back in 99.

I went to the Shepherds Bush show and left feeling underwhelmed. Just thought they were bang average. No band energy even though the set list was sort of half decent
Bob Geldof stood with me during the 2nd half of the gig having spent the 1st half up in the balcony.I remember some crowd trouble between the punters & the film crew right at the end of the show which livened up proceedings.

Didn't Keef blow one or many amps during that one?
Imo overall the whole 99 European "tour" is one to forget. They were so good in the U.S. that the European gigs were notably lesser.

@ wiredallnight :

have you thought of matrixing another gig? Mannheim'73! There are two recordings (OBR boot and Dime "1st gen" torrent), each one having some flaws but they run at the correct speed.

Yeah your right he did blow a couple of amps which didn't help proceedings

Agree loved the No Security 1999 US Tour. I would not say the whole European Tour of 1999 was one to forget. They were fantasic in Edinburgh. One of the best shows I have been to.

Stuttgart '99 remains my favorite of 58 concerts I've been to. Imst was pretty good too I think. Anyhow, I would love to hear a better sounding No Security show than Stuttgart. Whoever recorded that one deserves an award.

No I haven't. My problem is that I am not a specialist at all for doing matrixes. I am not even 100% happy with this one I posted here. I use Adobe Audition to mix the tracks, but if their speed is not 100% the same I am already clueless... So, if someone of the guys who do great matrixes here could give some information how to do it, which software to use, etc. it would be very helpful.

I may have a look into this show. Since I live in Mannheim, it makes a lot of sense, lol.

1999 isn't that old but with much older recordings you always have sync issues.
The problem is that it's almost impossible to find micro issues and to find out which recording is running too slow or too fast.
I use Dart XP Pro to SEE sync issues that are impossible to work on if you only hear them.
I end up splitting the recording in many 20sec-1min parts and sync them one by one to get them in sync.
It's a pretty time consuming work.

"It's a pretty time consuming work"
Yes it must be.
But (newbie question) linking two (1999) digital recordings must be relatively easy as they should run exactly at the same speed. Or do digital have their own inner "clock"?

Yes indeed. But there is always a slight difference possible due to inaccuracy of the recording gear. So I have always mixed only 2 or 3 tracks at once in the matrix posted above.

yes, little corrections still have to be done, but they are minor if the sources are digital. It's a completely different game with old analog stuff.

I think it was a great setlist and was definitely one for the real fans. I Got The Blues, Melody, Brand New Car and Moon Is Up would be completely lost on a stadium crowd. I don't remember there being a lack of energy but I wasn't there to analyse and be critical. This was the Rolling Stones in a club and it was a privilege to be there.
