I have a count of 3 circulating outtakes of "Waiting On A Friend."
The first is from the GOATS HEAD SOUP Sessions recorded in Jamaica in late 1972:

The second comes from the early sessions for TATTOO YOU from Paris late 1980. This version has no sax overdubbed yet:

The third comes from the last bit of sessions for TATTOO YOU from either Paris or New York in April - June 1981. This version has the overdubbed sax, including some cut out bits from the finished track:

CaptainAcids remaster with Sonny Rollins has a complete version but has the annoying beep at the end of it. Maybe someone can remove it?
