Are these tracks still considered to be lossy, included the reworked versions ?

Does Brian play on the Ruby Tuesday and Sympathy Rock n Roll Circus rehearsals. If he doesn’t ,why would they rehearse Ruby Tuesday without his signature recorder.

He didn't show up? He wasn't invited?

Let's keep it at just "he didn't show up" because imagining a "let's not invite him because I can't stand this old-fashioned recorder sound anymore"-scenario is an all too nasty thought.

An unusual request.
I've just had this email from a radio reporter:

I’m a reporter with public radio in the US. I’m working on a story about EU music copyright law, and I will focus a little on the recent song dump on YouTube, by ABCKO, on December 31st.

I’m looking for a copy of some of the songs with the bleep tone on them. A couple of fans from IORR have been kind enough to send me cleaned up versions of the songs, but to illustrate my point I’d like to play a song with the bleep tone still on it (the point being, these songs were published for purely legal purposes).

Can anybody help?

No.

They probably tried many things out to see what worked. Why would they play it without Brian? They were well used to proceeding with or without Brian, it was standard procedure.

Thank you very much for uploading the files in their original mp4 format as they were posted by abkco. Even if I will very hardly listen to these beep versions it is very useful for archiving the tracks "as they were posted".

Why do people keep including the "early version" of Gimme Shelter in these???

It's a 1978 tour rehearsal!!!
