Ah so it's not just me then !

Oh and yes "Prairie Love" sounds a lot like an early "Rain Fall Down" to me, but that's for another thread !

Can't say I hear any of Hot Stuff in Prairie Love, in Keith's Big Enough, yes !

So yes "20 Nil" sounds like an early version of "Low Down" to me, M&K said it was one of the first songs they worked on in December 1996 in NY. A quote has Mick saying it was him on drums and Keith on guitar, this one has two guitars.

To me the drums sound very similar to ABB...

Not sure you can draw any conclusions from the drum sound on a demo/jam vs the sound of drums on released material, so much stuff goes on after that, not to mention not being recorded on the same equipment/studio. Finding similarities with known songs is somewhat "easier" though IMHO ;-)

Not much at all actually, the released version seems to be an edit of this one. Not the "raw" one Keith complained wasn't used.

I think this new unreleased "Might as Well get Juiced" differs greatly from the released one. This one is so friggin' good---a constant hypnotic, almost "last time" janglely guitar under all those great slides, that weird synth bass effect is almost gone. Nicely blended styles of "old" and "new", unlike the released one which sounds like it's pandering to be current. This one sounds sinister.

Did not know Keith raved about a raw one in an interview. Would love to hear all versions of this.

I don't think this has been mentioned before but Danny Saber recently posted a tribute to Charlie on YT in the form of a "Board Mix of Final master take of "Out of Control" pre overdubs and final vocal.

An interesting version with some alternate guitar, not sure if it's Keith or Danny Saber though as he's credited with "subversive Gtrz"

ok...talk about a cryptic thread title that no one will ever find with a reasonable search ;-)

Anyway it sounds pretty legit to me and enjoyable.
