Due to the tempestuous relation he had with Keef during the B2B sessions he's probably the one who let these go in the 1st place.

I don't have anything from 97. That was a little joke that got misunderstood.

But you can understand the people who do own these tracks are unwilling to share them because :

- they either paid for it and they want to keep it "in the family" for as long as possible.
- they got it out of courtesy from an insider who put a "no trade" obligation on it. And they might fear negative stupid reaction like "ah ah it sucks! And I never liked B2B anyway!".

Btw have you noticed some new Steel Wheels outtakes are rumored to exist?

There is no reason to fear 2 stupid comments like that because the obvious response would be "that's why they're not released."

Rumors and/or facts about additional Steel Wheels outtakes would not surprise anyone. Is that a hint about Steel Wheels or a deflection about B2B?

Check entry "890329A" in Nico's site. The list of recorded tracks for that studio session has grown significantly recently.
And Nico's site has always acted as a sismograph : it detects sutble deep movements in the core of the stone's trading planet.

You are deflecting. I have a saved copy from 2017 and that 1989 entry has NOT changed and neither has the subject.

There are indeed some "very early" versions (and not "unverified") listed here [www.nzentgraf.de] that don't seem to fit what was leaked via CM's widow back in 2006.

As for B2B, who knows...maybe Videojames since he listed some tracks in his book back in 1997.

I'm not seeing it. What is there that is not on the Monitor Mixes and Training Wheels? Like I said earlier, I have a copy of that 1989 entry from 2017 and it is the same in 2019.

Finally and luckily we get some outtakes from BtB. Can't wait to hear them.

Not much at all actually, the released version seems to be an edit of this one. Not the "raw" one Keith complained wasn't used. Low Down is not too different either but Too Tight sounds like an earlier demo.

Flip the Switch on the other hand is quite different, on top of Keith's vocals. It sounds like he recruited the Dust Brothers for the long weird intro ;-)

I think there is one other track on FFO from the B2B sessions in a very early version, I won't spoil the fun of spotting it!

"Prairie Love" as a precursor of "Gunface"?
On both tracks we have a somewhat metallic drum sound and a "Chinese-sounding" main guitar riff... (just a guess).

"Prairie Dog" does indeed sound like another song to me but not on B2B, will have to listen again to Gunface just in case.

"Desperate Man" sounds great, best new track to my ears, and deserved to be released but I don't hear it in a released song?

Praire Love does have some Gunface vibe to it. I also hear a bit of rain fall down in the way Mick sings it
