We should compare our files...

The files I have are all in the to Demonoid original uploaded state.
Original compiled by The57thBeatle untill the early 2000's.
As he got troubled with a mouse arm I took it upon me to continue his work, so starting from the early 2000's I continued untill 2017, and than Demonoid was no longer available.

Comparing our files is useless because I did not change the torrents content.
All additions to older torrents were torrented with new torrents.
The only thing I did with the older torrents was, I did shift the content of smaller torrents into bigger torrents and created 20 torrents instead of 50.
Also 5 extra torrents were created for additions.

I still have the text files, so if you want something to do ...............

General information;

note: Original versions mean songs by the original artists, later covered by the Rolling Stones.

The numbering of the files is by the TUG but the TUG is updated lately and numbering has shifted in the latest web version.
I did follow this numbering untill I got a mouse arm as well and made it easy for me to just add the files as the were in my HD.
I did not rename files track01...track02...and so on when artwork provided this information.

Looking to see if this is available on any torrent site (just checked Electric Ladyland and no luck, Demoniod seems gone) or if anyone (preferably in the U.S.) would be willing to do a HD swap.

That was the Golden Age of Demonoid.

I figured after you told me about the drive, I would take a shot here to see if anyone else had it.

I learned yesterday Demonoid is open for members at [demonoid.is]

that does not mean I can reseed the old torrents because of a diskcrash, but who knows ............
could still be on an old portable external ?????

I cannot login with the old pass and when asking for the forgotten pass, I doesn't recognize my old email, so the old data of users seem to be gone.
Who know if this the old site or someone else created a new demonoid.

It is a new site and open for sign on.
Maybe you can register with your previous registration.

Yep, old username, pass or email is not recognized since 2019.
I don't remember if it was shutdown or suffered a massive users database loss.
I had to register again in 2019. I chose my old username.
[demonoid.is] is the only valid address

If anyone knows where this torrent might still be lurking about, please post here.
(or suggestions of collections similar to "50 years". I liked the idea of this collection---having everything neatly categorized chronologically into folders, instead of downloading multiple boots with the same stuff on them to get tracks you don't have, etc.)

It is over 1 terrabite and don't have enough storage space in Stonesvault.
It will ask for extra storage space and have to buy another account.
Because of the anual costs a few years ago I did say goodby to one of the 4 accounts.
Zipping alone will be very time consuming.
Besides lots is already available in Stonesvault.

Step by step I will check what is missing in Stonesvault, but at the moment I don't have the time.

Perhaps it’s time for a ‘drive’ to update the funds for stonesvault

The 50YofDW files are a mix of official and non-official.
Official parts will be deleted.
The new torrents will be in Electric Ladyland a,s,a,p.

Can't seem to load EL now. Is there any listings for what's in this set? I saw info for maybe five of the vols but nothing else.

At the moment I am working on the Original sources of Stonestracks trying to get them all in one excell sheet to select and delete doubles.
It is very time consuming because I have to rename tracks from artwork for in some cases there is no infofile available.

There is 5 volumes of 4 CDs on ELL [section for sharing with friends and not general accessibel] but no seeders, so maybe afterall I will turn to Demonoid.

Still thinking.

Electric Ladyland is back up and running for me.

Never uploaded anything on rutracker.
I do have a login, but will need soms instructions how to upload there, such as how to create a torrent for rutracker and what tracker/announce is needed.
I don't see a tracker/announce in Traders Little Helper.

Keep in mind I am not technical and over 70 already.
You'll have to teach an old dog some new tricks.

Also there are only few that can download from Rutracker.
