I listened to this one today and it sounds very good. No idea about who the alt. source is, though.

Yeah thx!
Gotta love the little barks during... "Bitch"! >grinning smiley<
And overall this is the end-of-tour shows where the Stones reach some kind of quiet perfection.

Thanks.

As far as I know, there are two sources for the second show in Boston.

First source is incomplete, can be found on the Weeping Goat bootleg ( tracks 01-09, the rest of that boot is source two also ),
the second source is on the boots from DAC, Exile and Pignose.

This here sounds like the second source, files look a bit lossy...

Taken from the Stonesvault ( thanks ! ), here is the Weeping Goat bootleg for one week on Wetransfer:

[wetransfer.com]

Last summer there was another bootleg release from Boston, both shows on a no label boot, info:

Can anybody please share this?

Yes, one should slow it down by ~3%.
But then it sounds okay, maybe even better than source #2.

Yes it's closer to the stage and the guitar amps sound ominous on that 9-tracks tape!

Yes, source is better, for the 1st half. It's a somewhat stereo sound.

I haven't downloaded, I was speaking (writing) about the "Ginsoaked Barroom Queen in Boston" -release from 1995.

I was going to mention in the orig. post that it sounds like they're picking up the tempo mondo fast. But Mick's vocals sound all right. I guess the tape could be fast. It's virtually impossible for me to tell when it's sped up just a little. But I can always tell when something's slowed down.

There's a crazy-good version of GS here. It's almost better than the fabled one from Philie.

Apparently the recording shared by Heiloobaas is the "Herb Staehr" one.
