For these ones they put the piano aside and use guitars to play the song. That may inform us about the way Keef finds inspiration in the studio when he doesn't have song ideas already formed : he jams on classic songs till sth new (an embryo of a new song) comes up.
(Just speculating here... but Iggy Pop did exactly that for the "Lust For Life"/"The Idiot" albums)
