OK, this one's got my attention, maybe a lot of other IORRers as well.

As mentioned elsewhere in IORR, ABKCOVEVO has recently posted official lyric videos for the Beggars Banquet album at [www.youtube.com]. Not so long ago, they also posted official lyric videos for TSMR on the same page. What a kaleidoscopic masterpiece these videos are. In their own way, the BB videos aren't too far behind that in visual appeal.

There you can also see official lyric videos for Ruby Tuesday, Gimme Shelter, Paint It Black, and Satisfaction.

Can anybody point me (make that all of us) to any more official lyric videos for pre-1970 Stones tracks that might have been made so far? Perhaps the ABKCOVEVO page has everything that's been done, but after researching it, I'm still not 100% sure. It'd be pretty cool to come across any more of these gems.

Perhaps we should simply continue to "watch this space" at the ABKCOVEVO site. Any suggestions, talk to us. I for one will be listening.

Thanks for mentioning, but remember the subject of my post is about official lyric videos for pre-1970 Stones tracks. WH and D&G aren't in that category.

Oh, as an aside, I understand that some people know how to download videos from YouTube.

I've got an idea to give this subject some momentum and maybe inspire the makers to produce more 60s Stones official lyric videos. How about calling it, for fairly obvious reasons, "You Weren't Really There"?

More thoughts, more ideas. There are already 24 official lyric videos - 2 60s albums of 10 each and 4 great 60s hits. More great 60s hits would be terrific to see added. I wonder if suggestions can be made to ABKCO.

Anyway, an expanded title for the project that would help to explain the main title - "You Weren't Really There", subtitled "Rolling Stones Official Lyric Videos from the '60s".

There's a glimmer (accidental pun) of hope. After 2-3 years ago when 3 hits were done, Ruby Tuesday was done only 6 months ago. Maybe somebody at ABKCO is still thinking about doing more. Let's see what happens (another accidental pun - see TSMR track 5).

Valid through December 6th
