Charlie Watts Sidesteps:
The A, B, C & D of Boogie Woogie-series
This series is dedicated to the Boogie Woogie side-project of Charlie Watts between 2009 - 2012. All song titles were not identified yet. Also there are many instrumental improvisations (which haven't got any song title at all) and there might be some mistakes.
Any help is welcome!
Thanks to all the original recorders and especially to nzb and Jaap (Stonesmuziekfan) who provided me their recordings, gave critic and advice regarding my work …. So without whom this project wouldn’t have been possible!

c01 to c04 and zzz from mixes compilation
For this show we had 3 versions: one coming from nzb with a muddy sound but almost complete (only the encore might be lost).
The 2nd version coming from Jaap is a mix of tracks coming from several shows sometimes misnamed, sometimes misplaced…but the tracks or excerpts coming from this show are in better quality as the nzb’s version.
The 3rd version is coming from a DVD posted by Honestman on HungerCity using short videos from the show and completed with YouTube tracks.
The 2nd & 3rd version are interesting but in lossy format.
So I will do two versions:
- one with nzb’s version
- another with nzb’s version and the bonus tracks
note: the last track it’s coming from a Paris’s show but we cannot be sure it’s from this date or from this set (perhaps the 1st one?) the doubt remains…
About my “interventions” I equalized the tracks and upgraded the transitions between the tracks and, in the bonus, I put all tracks in the correct order and tried to upgrade the transitions between the tracks.
As usual all the infos are taken from The Rolling Stones Complete Works Database by Nico Zentgraf [
