Notes
Live at Madison Square Garden, New York City, New York, June 27th, 1975.
Probably one of the most bootlegged 1975 show and released dozens of times before, this title debuts with unique mix of sources that have been released not so often. Sourced from unplayed copy of an old vinyl set and mixed up with two other two sources, this triple disc set offers the most complete and best sounding version of this very long show in stunning quality.

What a great set list. Leaving out the Billy Preston stuff, wouldn't you love to see the Stones do a show now with a variety of their songs like this one? Thanks for the post.

You know, the ironic thing about Billy Preston's turn is that it was rec'd with great enthusiasm by the audiences. Keith and Ronnie got to play different songs, the energy level was right up there. And Mick was only offstage for the first number. The second one he popped up from the stage, did a raucous dance with Billy, then grabbed that rope thang and swung out over the audience. Let me tell you, Mick was CLOSE to the audience when he swung on that rope! I was at Seattle 75 and JESUS CHRIST ON A BISCUIT!

But, to get back to Billy, he provided lots of talent and energy to the band from the Goats Head Soup sessions, up through the Europe 76 tour.

Could it be a silver-pressed release of the Falo/Captain Acid project?

Anyway I never liked this show. grinning smiley They sound tired and they're plodding their way thru the setlist. Compare it with the June 22 gig where they sound mercurial and almighty. "Star Star" from MSG I is sublime like the missing link between the 73 versions and the KR/RW ones.

Proably but not sure with the same Label name.
My favourite dealer tells me that this guy were first "Godfather Records" then became "Eat A Peach" and now "Golden Eggs".
To my knowledge they produce only 3 volumes devoted to the Stones and one to M Jagger ( I'm searching for).
I'm collecting the originals from this 3 labels because they're always the best recordings and in great packaging.
