This is good, very good... I love these early shows where the playing is still mellow = where the "roll" still dominates the "rock". By the end of the tour, when the Stones have turned into a scarily good live machine, the "rock" has buried the "roll" (imo anyway).

There is only one source and one bootleg ( which is what Heiloobaas posted here ) for the concert from June 19th in Chicago, no upgrade unless you had very lossy mp3 version!?!

& if I may add insult to injury... on two counts. The first is my original cassette tape of Mobile wh. I acquired in 1978 had a five minute or so pre-show advisory by Chip Monck talking the audience through the justified anger that the synapse between the front row and the stage was occupied by concert goers in their Alabama lawn chairs.
The second [please stop weeping. Crying will do you no good] is my Chicago tape of the 19th featured a radio chat show of the rock and roll variety. People called in and recounted their experiences. It was sensational. I needed to get rid of my cassette chop chop double quick over 8 years ago. Now, I wish I had been more forward thinking, but circumstances at the time prevented that...
I'm leaving to go knock my head into some concrete because telling this story has made me sad. So very sad...

Disc One is from Harold Colson of Stoneslib fame. He bought this on ebay and it's a vast improvement over what was available at the time. Disc Two is labeled DE UPGRADE wh. means it's upgraded by somebody in Germany. I no longer have a sound system that I can tell apart the nuances in sound, so if there really is an upgrade between the two, Bob's your mofo uncle...

Well thank you for these two giant upgrades (Tucson and Chicago I). For the 1st time the June 19 show is presented in a listenable form!

Note that on both versions "Brown Sugar" is missed.
The 1st cd is the recording used by VGP for « Winterland Stars » they amplified the sound and upgraded some songs transitions: between Brown Sugar/ Bitch and at end of Bitch…etc
it's always interesting to refind the original recording
