This is my attempt to try and present the available Citadel session takes in the right order at the right speed.
Unlike the other "Satanic Sessions" tracks Citadel has been spread over several releases and some as mono dubs of several generations - "He is Not Dead"
Thanks to midnrambler for being so kind to get me a copy of Requests and Requires to fix some gaps in my project.
In the end it ended up being Requests and Requires and Satanic Sessions sources to make the best possible sounding session.
Some of the takes have been mislabelled on the boots such as "Have You Seen the Outtakes" which lists a Take 12 but it is not Take 12 it is actually take 8 which can be identified by the "Oh" just before the take starts.
I usually do "cleanups" - I haven't really touched the stereo Satanic Sessions stuff...I have tried to clean the Requests and Requires stuff a little bit to eradicate some hum and some mild EQ.

Hi There

Not sure if this is a redundant activity, but I spent a lot of time organising all of the Citadel Sessions to create the most complete version possible. Even to the point of editing in tiny sections of tape from He is Not Dead which have been edited out of other versions etc etc...
But I only have one source for "Satanic Sessions Vol 3" - which I believe is copy of Requests and Requires...anyway that is needed for takes 9-14 but the version I have has digital distortion.
I can use He is Not Dead for some - but I wanted to present the whole thing as complete and in best sound quality possible. I have speed corrected etc etc so the whole thing is in the right key/time but I wondered if anyone had a CD of the takes just so I can either complete my job or I can at least fix takes 9-17 which is where Satanic Sessions kicks in IIRC.

While I am at it - there is no Take 4 right? In every copy I have the announcement is Take 3 - quickly into 5. Also Take 17 is mistakenly announced twice...just checking.

I'd actually love to know more on how the Satanic Tapes got out - and also why Citadel seems to have been circulated through lower quality dubs...
I wonder if the infamous "throwout" at Olympic - back in the 80s, I think it was - was responsible?

Thank you so much! I really appreciate you doing this - and so quickly too! I will finish off my little project and of course will upload to the good folks of IORR. I do think my project will have some value - as I am not sure that the whole thing has been assembled with correct key and speed as complete in one place...so my thanks again!

Thanks funkydrummer. Really looking forward to this. The cleanups you have posted previously - Sydney, St. Kilda, Paris, Honolulu 1966 - Vienna, Milan, Paris, Zurich, The Hague 1967 - London 1969 - were all most welcome. Great work.
