I don't know enough about remix vs. remaster and I hope somebody can provide a clear definition. thx

remix: new version of an existing recording
parts get a new combining and new editing
often is sound added
result is a complete different version of the original
remix sftd
remaster: nothing new; the original has not be altered
e.g.:
transfer from analog to digital and/or
adjustments of loudness, dynamic range, tonal balance, speed etc of the music
meant for sound enhancing of the original
remaster some girls
