Jaap, I think we need an answer from Germany (Herr rsKinno) so we know exactly what we have got.

Cheked a few tracks; this appears to be the audio from the complete Youtube source (with missing banter between songs dubbed in from another source?).

The subscription says : original in WAV. But this recorded from YT ? That must mean it is lossy?

Thankful anyway for this, but this is a YT audio recording from lossy to WAV then?

I have checked the frequency response of this recording & it's essentially flat up to 22kHz which implies that it is NOT from a lossy source.

Lossy YT sources tend to drop off sharply to zero around the 15-16kHz mark such as the Daydreams Visuals audio which I am uploading even as we speak. (great sound but!).

This is different than CL source.
Rskinno you've done a nice work on the sound.

If I record the Daydreams Visuals audiostream from Youtube I get a recording with a frequency response that is essentially flat up to 2000Khz.

If I ignore the visuals and actually listen to both sources I hear the same audiencemarkers (at least at the random comparison points I used).

Hmm, this picture made with EAC looks lossy. But we need an explanation from the uploader what source he has used. WAV doesn' t say anything when the main source was lossy.

This recording was made with a Sony equipment (rsKinno words: "A Sony recording - Original in WAV with Sony Sound Forge Audio Studio 9.0 transferred to the computer - split - for you all"), so my guess is that we have another 3rd source here...

Kudos to WB, Daydream Visuals and CL for sharing their very enjoyable Hamburg recordings. What a luxury to have several great sources within days after the concert.

My observations concerning the various sources:

CL recording 2 hours 19 minutes
Daydream Visuals 2 hours 20 minutes
WB recording 2 hours 24 minutes
rskinno 20 hours 24 minutes

rskinno 'Sony' recording appears to be a matrix of WB and Daydream source (I hear audience markers from both sources before the start of SFTD). Please correct me if I'm wrong... :-)

WB source lacks some bottom/bass.
Daydream visuals is slightly lossy but probably has the best sound (still very decent frequency response to 2000khz)
CL recording sounds more distant than the other two sources and has more intrusive crowdnoise from the people surrounding the recorder.
