5'40 version of "In Your Hand" is a FAKE.

A part of the 4'45 version is repeated twice.

I will check the 3 other "longer" songs.

To be honest : a member of this board wrote to me a few days ago and told me that he have found that "Keep It Cool" was faked, and suspected the other 3 to be fakes, too.

This afternoon, I took 1/4 of an hour, and found the fake on "In My Hand". "In Your Hand". Sorry, edit.

"Forty" & "Christine" are probably fakes, too.

So credit must go to DCBA, who was the first to detect the problem on "Keep It Cool". Good work and ear.

Only Kinno could tell us who sent him these fakes.

Just looking at the waveform, Christine is clearly looped. Same with Forty.

The review keeps saying "4" fakes and then lists 5 titles.

Typo error, not 4'45 but 4'41 (as released here on IORR by MrD & Coowouters).

I think "The Golden Mile" is listed by mistake, that's not a problem. Riccardo makes good and very informative reviews.

I do not have much to say about it! Most songs from this compilation I got into the
90s by a good buddy of the Toningenier and is unfortunately already deceased. 2014 I had these CDRs
With 126 tracks finished and wanted to offer them before, but did not dare, and see it now,

something many labels that produce (that is copy) these works have a tendency not to do,

I don't care about those "fakes".

If you get something from someone and are so kind to share it here, you can't always check everything.
With some 10 Terrabyte of Stones stuff, I could make the same mistake; posting something without checking it.
So, IMHO, RSKinno is not to blame.

In fact, first time someone sent me a mail with this suspicion of fakes (I got several), I contacted RSKinno and I immediately got an answer back, telling that that was the way he got them (including some info that he would like me to keep for myself)

I should have posted the first part of his mail (which was more or less what he wrote above) right away here on IORR, instead of keeping it for myself.

That would have prevented that people are now dragging his name through the mud.

People, be honest; didn't he give us some real nice stuff before? and didn't we, leechers included, enjoy his work?

So I suggest to drop the topic and keep enjoying RSKinno's work!
