Anybody aware of a soundboard tape from Newcastle 1971?

Item description

This is a very, very extraordinary item: a vintage tape from The Rolling Stones, 'Live in Newcastle City Hall'.

According to the original box, this concert has been recorded on the 4th of March 1972, but of course 1971 is meant: this was the very first show from the Farewell Tour of the boys before they became tax-exiles in France.

This very tape has been recorded by an English radiostation and was never ever duplicated.

Mind you, this is absolutely the only chance to hear this really wonderful recording and concert, bevause it never was and never will be available on any other formats (CD's, Vinyl, DVD's, i-Tunes, Spotify, ... whatever!

This is a real and genuine one-off, so do make sure you don't miss this exceptional opportunity!

HTW as opener, then Satisfaction? No CYHMK? Very strange.

Maybe.

The weird thing is the term "stereo" in the description, as the original BC was in mono (or exactly a stero broadcast of a mono tape ...).

If I'm not wrong, this tape was offered on Ebay.be on late June.

Seems somebody bought it.......... [www.ebay.com] .......

The eBay seller has taken down all of his 46 other auctions at the same time he sold this tape.

for no other reason than concern for a fan who spent a thousand quid on it you've got to hope that's not the case.

You'd think that an ethical seller would have provided a short audio sample to illustrate both quality and uniqueness of content.

Were there samples offered? The guy who had the Burbank'72 tape for sale had some samples to back his claim and his auction.

The reel was originally offered for 80,- euros on Ebay. The guy who's selling it now must be the one who bought it or either it's the original seller trying to make a few more bucks. When it was offered the first time I asked for a sound sample. He couldn't provide one or couldn't (didn't want) to tell me if it was Leeds or not. Although he said he played the tape.
